Someone capable of experiencing pride would not have brought an avenger.

Sadly, we have several employees that have them. I call it the Yugo effect - when you have crap credit and feel that you must have a new car instead of a better used one it forces you into making dumb choices.

I just don’t get it. I’ve always thought of backing in as the opposite of laziness. How can one be so motivated as to back into a parking space, and yet not use the side mirrors to help center the car?

I do too, going as far as purchasing one of DaftRyosuke’s designs on a T-shirt in color to match my car (although it’s an NC Miata and not a Mazda5, but close enough...)

In my building parking lot everyone parks more towards the one line because the small cement block for the tire is placed towards one side. So everyone is shifted towards that edge. We all park Right Justified instead of Center Justified.

Except sometimes I take two spaces just because I can. (I have two spaces but only one car.)

I almost always back into our driveway - it’s slightly downhill so you can just pull up and roll back in. Good looking 5 there.

I wish I had a driveway - city parking and the idiots that come along with it have taken their toll on my baby as evidenced by the trailer hitch puncture on the front bumper and the scrapes on the left rear corner from idiots pulling out of their spot whilst too close.

Thanks for the compliments on the car. I’ve had it for almost 6 years now and love it, and will never get rid of it even if I buy something else. Two of my favorite things in the automotive world are minivans and manual transmissions, and this combines those two into a fun and practical little runabout.

Almost die laughing when I watch someone try and it takes them about 5 or 6 tries to get it somewhat acceptable.
